The double bass is a physically demanding instrument to play. Having a poorly setup instrument complicates these matters even more.

Our approach to the set up is that the instrument must first be fun to play. We want you to achieve the maximum enjoyment of your instrument.

We stock 20 different grade A bridge sizes in a full range of densities. and offer the choice of your bridge with or without adjusters in wood or metal. By combining these materials effectively we can offer you alot of tonal options.

When it comes to fingerboards we use 4 different templates which give us the ability to offer you infinite variations on arch and relief.

We fit and install sound posts to the exact curvature of the inside of your instrument with the proper tension for your style of playing.

We recognize the individuality and difference of each instrument and player and have developed an understanding of the techniques necessary to adjust an instrument correctly for the various styles of music.

We make it a point to accommodate individual requirements such as string heights, curvature of the fingerboard, and string spacing. We also make every effort to adjust the sound post according to your playing requirements.
